Dr. Orlando Rojas was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Colombian College of Dentistry in 1986. After graduation, he practiced privately while lecturing part-time at his alma mater.

In April 1990, Dr. Rojas relocated to Pretoria, South Africa, where he validated his degree with the South African Medical and Dental Council. He continued lecturing and furthering his studies at the Medical University of South Africa until 1999, lecturing both locally and internationally, and actively participating in the International Association for Dental Research (IADR-SA).

With over 35 years of experience in mercury toxicity and more than 25 years focusing on liners and composite resin toxicity, Dr. Rojas approaches dentistry with a holistic, patient centered mind-set, seeing patients as whole human beings, not just teeth.

● Co-founder of the Dental Care Group, providing high-standard dental care for underprivileged communities.

● Founder of The Home of Biological Dentistry in Pretoria (1999) to offer advanced biological dental care.

● Follows the Swiss Biohealth Concept for safe removal of metals, dead teeth, necrotic bone, and other focal points of infection.

● Integrates alternative sciences and functional cosmetic dentistry, including Body Talk, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Reiki, and energy healing.

Dr. Andréa Steenekamp grew up on a game farm near Ellisras, South Africa. Inspired by her childhood dentist, she pursued dentistry at the University of Pretoria, graduating Cum Laude and receiving an award for excellence.

She joined an upmarket dental practice in Centurion, gaining experience in modern digital dentistry and CAD/CAM techniques. In January 2018, Dr. Steenekamp joined Dr. Orlando Rojas’s team, specializing in Biological Dentistry.

Her approach is gentle, calm, and patient-focused, making her especially beloved by Pediatric patients. Outside of work, she enjoys family time, travel, and exploring new experiences.
