Our Fees
Fee Structure and Financial Arrangements
Welcome to the HOME OF BIOLOGICAL DENTISTRY, a completely different approach to health!
Dear valued patient, In November 2003 the competitions commissioner declared all fixed price structures in the medical industry as illegal. The Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) and the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) were then approached by the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF) and The South African Dental Association (SADA) to establish a guideline for fees. These fees were established and the CMS’s reference fees are now known as the National Reference Price List for Medical Aids (NRPL) which are considered to be fair for the “large majority of the population”. Note that we charge above those fees in order to be able to offer you quality treatment second to none.
All medical aids can now pay whichever portion of a claim they prefer.
Consultation options are:
Consultation without diagnostic X-rays – R2,037.00
This appointment includes a clinical examination only, without periapical X-rays, a panoramic X-ray, or a CBCT scan. As a result, the diagnosis may be incomplete or inaccurate. This option is not recommended and is mainly intended for discussion purposes.
Comprehensive consultation with panoramic X-ray – R2,820.00
This includes a full clinical examination and a panoramic radiograph. The X-ray enables us to assess the tooth roots, supporting bone, jaw joints (TMJ), and surrounding structures. It also assists in identifying amalgam fillings or fragments, porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns, and any signs of pathology.
Consultation with CBCT scan – R4,787.00

- assist with removal of failed implants
